Located only 2 miles north of Fargo-Moorhead, 3 Gems is a horse riding academy for all levels and styles. 3 Gems Riding Academy was founded 2012 and named after the owner's 3 children, known as her 3 gems. Contact them for lessons, camps, boarding, horse leases, 4H club, saddle club, horse shows, clinics, internships, pony parties, and volunteering!
Horsekeeping Rainbow Level 1 Camps
The Rainbow Level 1 Horsekeeping is a non-riding introductory level for young equestrians, who are not yet able to care for a pony independently. Rainbow Level will practice their safety skills with the supervision and assistance of an instructor!
Rainbow Clinics are designed to introduce students to the Learning Levels program (see below). Students will not be tested on the levels during the clinic, but 3 Gems Riding Academy encourages them to return for a private lesson where they will have the opportunity to test out of a level and earn their ribbon. It is suggested students attend several Rainbow clinics before testing for next level.
LEARNING LEVELS PROGRAM
3 Gems Riding Academy's educational programs all have the same goal: to create happy, safe equestrians on happy, healthy horses!
TWO sets of progressive Learning Levels to achieve this goal:
Horsemanship (riding)
Horsekeeping (care & handling from the ground, non-riding)
When students can demonstrate the knowledge and skills required for a level they are awarded colorful ribbons to celebrate their progress.
