Amazing Acres: A Fall Destination for the Whole Family

Opened this year on August 15—just as the sunflowers were in full bloom—Amazing Acres was created from one family’s dream of offering a fun, educational place to enjoy beautiful fall days together. One of the highlights is their wagon ride, where guests can meet their purebred cattle and learn a bit about their farming operation along the way.

Since opening, they’ve been overwhelmed by the wonderful feedback. Parents tell them their kids don’t want to leave—and it’s easy to see why! There’s something for everyone, from a vibrant sunflower maze and a winding corn maze to pumpkins and plenty of other hands-on activities. Older kids love it just as much as the little ones.

Amazing Acres is open now through October 19th: Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Thursday, October 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Their grand opening celebration is September 27–28, featuring pumpkin-themed activities like a pie eating contest, a pumpkin treat hunt, local vendors, and even a flashlight maze night and halfway haunted wagon ride on Saturday evening.

Visitors can also relax in their charming new barn building, complete with real bathrooms, a cozy seating area, and a concession stand serving hot dogs, mac and cheese, taco in a bag, caramel apple nachos, homemade bars and cookies, hot cocoa, and more. With so much to see, taste, and do, it’s no wonder guests keep saying the same thing—“This place is AMAZING!”
