Bella’s Dulce Sweets & Treats stands as a beacon of flavor and tradition in downtown Fargo. Founded 3 years ago by 10 year old Bella and her mother Rosalinda, this bakery is the pioneering family-owned Mexican bakery in the heart of the city. Their ovens tell a story of passion, heritage, and dedication, and their assortment of delectable treats is a testament to their rich Mexican culinary roots. From special requests to catering, they’ve broadened their horizons to meet our community’s needs, even offering delivery to bring their flavors straight to your door. But more than just sweets, their bakery is built on a golden heart story – a testament to a family’s journey, resilience, and dream to share a slice of their heritage with Fargo. During a very difficult time when tragedy struck, Rosalinda Garcia endured near death complications during her pregnancy in October of 2020, that lead to their child being in the NICU. During this difficult time they saw the light, that brought pure strength! Now, their mission is to give back. Bella’s Dulce wants to help everyone in need and truly make a difference! They’ve teamed up with the YMCA, New Life Center, and Gladys Ray Shelter to turn their baked goods into items like bar soap, toothbrushes, deodorant, tissues, and socks for residents.  Then, they expanded their charitable efforts to 4 the Luv of Dog Rescue to provide dog food, treats, bowls, blankets, leashes and collars.

With love for everyone and every animal, Bella took notice of the homeless community in the Fargo-Moorhead area. She was sad and didn’t understand why they didn’t have a place to live. Bella wanted to make a difference so with the help of her mom, she created Bella’s Dulce Sweets and Treats to make our home of Fargo, North Dakota a better, happier place. She took the idea of selling her homemade treats and crafts, and using the proceeds to purchase care packages for those in need in the community.

Bella's Dulce Sweets & Treats is located on Broadway across the street from Zandbroz. When you visit, you have to try their Mexican brownies, and their Mexican variety cupcakes - gancitos and sponch.
