UC Hope Thrift Store: Giving Back to the Community

UC Hope Thrift Store is a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for programs that directly benefit the Dilworth, Glyndon, and Felton communities. By shopping at their store, you support important programs such as the Rebel Hope Chest, UC Hope Kids Club, Emergency Food Pantry, Holiday Food Baskets, and more—helping those in need throughout the DGF school district.

The story behind UC Hope began in 2020 when the need for food, clothing, school supplies, and hygiene products was identified in the DGF school district. The founders responded by creating the Rebel Hope Chest to provide these essential items to K-12 students at no cost. The opening of the UC Hope Thrift Store allowed the organization to expand its impact and continue to support the community.

Many people don’t realize that their thrift store offers low everyday prices on clothes, shoes, toys, and household items. They are able to keep prices affordable because they were gifted the Thrift Store building, allowing them to raise funds for their programs while keeping costs low for customers.

Celebrating 5 years of service, UC Hope Thrift Store is conveniently located just off Highway 10 on the east side of Glyndon, directly across from the water tower. To redeem offers, simply shop at the Thrift Store and present your voucher at the cash register.

Donations are always welcome and can be dropped off 24/7 at door #2 of the storage building next to the store.
