Details
Unseen is an international nonprofit dedicated to accelerating the fight against human trafficking and addressing the root causes that allow it to continue. Since 2011, Unseen has worked to identify and support effective organizations already doing courageous work in communities around the world, helping them access the resources, visibility, strategy, and support they need to reach more people and create lasting change. Fall Fire 2026 brings the Fargo-Moorhead community together to celebrate partner-led wins and fuel the work still ahead.
The name Unseen reflects the heart behind the organization. Too often, people in need and the organizations working tirelessly to help them can go overlooked. Unseen exists to help bring that work into view and make sure proven organizations have the support they need to grow.
What makes Unseen different is that it is not a direct service rescue organization. Instead, Unseen partners with vetted organizations leading prevention, protection, and prosecution efforts in the communities they know best. Through fundraising, marketing, training, strategic support, collaboration, and targeted resources, Unseen helps these organizations strengthen their capacity and responsibly expand their impact.
As Unseen celebrates its 15th year in 2026, its work has grown well beyond its beginnings in storytelling and fundraising tools. Today, its acceleration model includes organizational support, strategy, training, collaboration, and the Strategic Grant Initiative, all designed to help proven partners become stronger and reach more vulnerable people.
One of the best ways the Fargo Moorhead community can connect with this mission is through Fall Fire, Unseen's annual event celebrating progress and bringing people together around the fight against human trafficking. Fall Fire is designed to be an evening that feels welcoming, hopeful, and meaningful while reminding guests that ordinary people can help create extraordinary impact when they work together.
Fall Fire 2026 will take place September 18 at Brewhalla, located at 1702 1st Ave N in Fargo. Guests are encouraged to arrive around 6:45 p.m. to allow plenty of time for parking and check in. Social hour begins at 7:00 p.m., followed by the main program at 8:00 p.m. The evening includes small bites, and the attire is black and white.
Unseen's impact reaches far beyond Fargo, but its local roots remain an important part of its story. The organization gives the Fargo Moorhead community a trusted way to engage with a global issue while bringing together local businesses, nonprofit leaders, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters. Events like Fall Fire create an opportunity for people to contribute their time, talents, resources, and voices to a cause that reaches communities around the world.
The Unseen team may be spread across several locations, but they share a strong Fargo spirit. They are practical, collaborative, hopeful, and always looking for creative ways to turn ideas into useful tools for their partners.
