Opened in May of 2023, Vampire Penguin is the only dessert shop offering frozen treats of this kind. It is the home of the most delicious and unique shaved snow treats. Shaved snow is not your ordinary snow cone or snow ice cream. It is a light and fluffy dessert that is truly unique. Their unique frozen treat is ice based with a blend of creamy deliciousness that is similar in texture to a fresh snowfall. They offer a large variety of flavors and toppings to choose from. Whether you are looking for a refreshing and fruity treat, a decadent and creamy delight, or a fusion of traditional and modern desserts, Vampire Penguin has something for everyone! The owners grew up in the Philippines, and enjoyed ice candy (our version of otter pops). When they moved to the US in 2000, they were exposed to amazing interpretations of ice, including snow cones, Hawaiian shaved ice,
and Taiwanese shaved ice. In 2013, when they decided to open a shaved snow/ice business, they experimented on combining the different elements of what they liked about the different interpretations of dessert ice, combining the fine texture of Hawaiin ice, the creaminess and richness of Taiwanese ice, and the all American feel of the snow cone.
However, Vampire Penguin offers so much more than just shaved snow! They are a full service coffee shop (with a
drive thru) and have delicious house made bubble waffles as well as boba and Milk tea’s.
